UCSC Game Design Capstone Project

Description: Purgatower is a 2D dungeon crawler that mixes top-down exploration and puzzle solving with side scrolling combat in a fantasy setting. Stuck at the back of the line of fallen warriors waiting to be judged, you decide that you will wait no longer and, in true warrior fashion, will fight your way to the front! Along with your AI companion, explore the maze-like interior of The Purgatower. Solve puzzles and defeat enemies from your past to reach the top of tower, and with some luck, escape purgatory!
